World missions is engrained within our DNA as we believe that the great commission Matthew 28:18-20 remains the standing orders for the church. These are the ministries that we are currently supporting with prayer and regular financial support.

Calvary Chapel Fort Portal
Uganda

Before coming to Tauranga in 2016, Pastor Doug and his wife Destiny moved from Northern California to Uganda where they planted a Calvary Chapel church in a town called Fort Portal. In 2016, upon hearing the Lord lead them to New Zealand, Pastor Nicholas Kymuhendo became the lead pastor where he continues to serve in that role alongside his wife Grace. In that time God had blessed them with two children, and they continue to faithfully lead the church there.
